Alakapuri Falls at Kanjirakolly village is located in Kannur district,kerala.The WaterFall contains 3 phases namely Elappara waterfalls,Alakapuri waterfalls and monsoon season phase.The waterfalls located between the foothills of Western Ghats, bordering the Coorg area of Karnataka Evergreen Forests. The second stage of the water falls contains seven stages of shelves of rock. Both sides of the Alkapuri fall, hard Rocks look like Salamanders of the forest.
